What a heavenly accident you created! *Hint-Rather than sprinkling flour onto your work surface, try nonstick cooking spray (Pam works the best and you can use some on your hands too.)Sounds funny I know, but I learned that at a bread class. It keeps the dough pliable and easier to work with, it also keeps your dough soft and doesn't weigh it down with more flour.Simmons Inc.https://www.blogger.com/profile/12464661253551454046noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-267467205034007604.post-63097559461924086932011-02-23T21:03:49.403-07:002011-02-23T21:03:49.403-07:00I happened onto your blog while looking for a Rasp...I happened onto your blog while looking for a Raspberry Cream cheese cinnamon roll recipe and I think I've decided to try yours instead-they look HEAVENLY! I took a bread class from Pantry Secrets in Pleasant Grove and they have a no fail dough recipe that I use where I don't even have to sprinkle flour on my counter to roll it out, you just use some Pam nonstick cooking spray to your work surface, then roll the dough out and voila! No sticking! The added flour on your dough when you roll it out can also make your dough less pliable and soft.Simmons Inc.https://www.blogger.com/profile/12464661253551454046noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-267467205034007604.post-59466839868874854312010-07-31T01:17:07.476-06:002010-07-31T01:17:07.476-06:00The buns look delicious! The buns look delicious!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-267467205034007604.post-37653097494192720112010-07-30T12:23:50.116-06:002010-07-30T12:23:50.116-06:00What has saved my life with rolling dough, was wha...What has saved my life with rolling dough, was what I saw Raymond Blanc doing in a TV show. I think the trick is to roll it on top of a cool marble slab (something I can't afford.) But I have found that if I stick my gigantic wooden board in the freezer for 20 minutes, my dough seems to be more use friendly.

Your rolls look fabulous! Raspberry and lemon...brilliant. Even though you were not happy with your results I think the rolls look marvelous and absolutely delicious!
Yeast dough is a fickle thing. Sometimes it all comes together and sometimes it just won't go right. Since it likes to stick I usually use a very big, wooden baking board that is VERY well floured, but believe me even that fails sometimes. ;o)Susi's Kochen und Backenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00142326561973184070noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-267467205034007604.post-43827713805798047452010-07-28T11:45:02.907-06:002010-07-28T11:45:02.907-06:00i love when bloggers write about the disasters too...i love when bloggers write about the disasters too -- it makes you seem more real. and it happens to everyone.Justinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18109997692267088407noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-267467205034007604.post-66268351113796067822010-07-28T10:17:56.113-06:002010-07-28T10:17:56.113-06:00Wendy- Thank you
